Job summary

Overland AI in Seattle, WA, is hiring an NPI Manufacturing Engineer to lead the integration of mechanical and electrical subsystems for prototype to early production. You will craft repeatable build processes, support DFM/DFI feedback, and develop strong assembly documentation.

You will work closely with design engineering and production teams in a hands-on shop-floor role, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and schedule goals while enabling scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years integrating complex electromechanical systems from prototype to production.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine manufacturing integration flows for subassemblies and build sequences.
• Maintain multi-level BOM configuration as hardware evolves.
• Collaborate with design engineering to drive DFM/DFI feedback.
• Translate engineering intent into clear build documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement with hands-on floor feedback.
