Job summary

Monarch Quantum is seeking a NPI Manufacturing Engineer 4 to help scale our ground-up production foundation. You will own build schedules, drive early prototype builds through transition to full production, and coordinate across Supply Chain, Design, Process Development, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional execution of complex hardware programs from early prototypes through NPI to production readiness.
• Deep knowledge across hardware development, manufacturing, quality, and system integration.
• Strong communication and coordination across diverse engineering disciplines for program-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own build schedules across multiple programs, ensuring milestone alignment and critical path activities.
• Lead planning and execution of early prototype builds and guide transitions to stable production builds with Process Development and Operations.
• Drive coordination to remove cross-program bottlenecks and enable efficient delivery.
• Oversee BOM, drawings, tooling, and inspection readiness; resolve gaps before impact to execution.
• Deliver program-level build updates and risk mitigation strategies for leadership.
• Anticipate schedule risks with data-backed mitigation strategies to protect timelines.
• Maintain robust configuration management with serial-number-level records.
• Track critical material readiness and coordinate with Supply Chain on orders and receipts.
• Oversee incoming inspection and certification readiness for critical parts.
• Maintain a cross-functional risk and issue log with owners and targets.
• Foster high-trust collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
