Job summary

Monarch Quantum is seeking a Principal Build Project Engineer to own end‑to‑end hardware builds from prototype to production. You will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations to meet milestones and optimize performance.

The role requires a Master’s in engineering and 8+ years of relevant startup/tech experience, with leadership across multiple teams and strong exposure to BOM, tooling, and quality processes. This is an on‑site, full‑time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in startup/tech.
• Experience leading multi‑team hardware programs from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Own build schedules across multiple programs with milestones and dependencies.
• Lead early engineering prototype builds and transition to scalable production builds.
• Drive cross‑functional coordination to remove bottlenecks and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee BOM, drawings, tooling, and inspection readiness for complex builds.
• Provide program level build progress updates with risk analyses for leadership.
