Job summary

Monarch Quantum is seeking an experienced NPI Manufacturing Engineer 4 to lead end-to-end hardware program execution from prototyping through to full production. You will own build schedules, drive early prototype builds, and coordinate across Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Operations to meet long-term production targets.

The role requires a Master's degree and 8+ years in relevant settings, preferably startups or tech companies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years or more of relevant experience, ideally in startup/tech environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional execution of complex hardware programs from prototyping to production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own build schedules across multiple programs with milestone alignment.
• Lead early prototype builds and guide transition to stable production builds.
• Drive cross-team coordination to remove bottlenecks and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee BOM, drawings, tooling, and inspection readiness for complex builds.
• Provide program-level build progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Anticipate risks and develop data-backed mitigation strategies.
• Maintain configuration management with accurate records for materials and variants.
• Track long-lead material readiness and engage Supply Chain on orders and receipts.
• Oversee incoming inspection and certification readiness for critical parts.
• Maintain a cross-functional risk/issue log with owners and action plans.
• Foster high-trust collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.
