Job summary

KLA is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer to bring innovative sensor products from concept to production. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring new products are manufacturable, scalable, reliable, and ready for successful customer deployment.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong NPI and ramp-up experience, and collaborates across Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Suppliers to drive DFx initiatives and

Qualifications

Electrical, Materials, Physics, or Systems Engineering degree required.
Experience with electrical hardware development and productization.
Proven NPI, pilot builds, and manufacturing ramp-up experience.
Experience taking hardware designs from concept to manufacturing release.
Hands-on lab equipment experience.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI activities from prototype to production release.
Coordinate prototype, pilot, qualification and production builds.
Develop build plans, validation activities, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
Drive DFx initiatives for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers to resolve issues.
