Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Whitehall, MI is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing and to develop and optimize processes for new product introduction.

You will collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability, conduct root-cause analysis, and manage pilot runs and ramp-ups, ensuring robust process controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs (CAD, schematics) into manufacturing processes.
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems (Windchill, Agile) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
