Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation seeks an NPI Engineer to develop and implement fabrication and assembly processes for new products transitioning from development to production. The role focuses on low-volume, high-precision components and complex systems, including DF(M)X and ECN support.

On-site work at Hauppauge HQ is required. You will design tooling, fixtures, and work instructions, set up new product lines, and collaborate with design engineers to ensure quality and

Qualifications

Bachelor-level engineering degree required or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
Experience reading schematics and assembly drawings.
Familiarity with IPC/J-Standard is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes for new product development.
Assist in New Product Introduction builds; report issues.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
Review fabrication drawings for accuracy and tolerances.
Determine parts and tools to meet product specifications.
Develop tooling/fixtures and write work instructions.
