Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in St. Johns, MI is seeking an experienced NPI Engineer to drive the transition of new products from design to manufacturing.

You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize products for manufacturability and testability. Responsibilities include developing and implementing manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and assembly instructions, plus conducting IQ/OQ/PQ validation and addressing pilot-production issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a technical field.
3+ years of NPI engineering in manufacturing.
Ability to interpret schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
Experience with PCBA, testing, final product integration.

Responsibilities

Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and testability.
Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including tooling, fixtures, and assembly instructions.
Conduct process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during pilot production and initial ramp-up phases.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes and product design.
