Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a New Product Introduction Engineer to join our Chemical Engineering Team and lead the transfer of new chemical products and processes into our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. You will serve as the engineering lead for new product introductions, partnering with R&D, Chemistry Technical Support, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and EHS to ensure robust, scalable launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 4–7 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, including new product introduction, process development, technology transfer, scale-up, validation, troubleshooting, process optimization, and cross-functional project management.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of all processes across the manufacturing facility.
• Provide technical support during operation, commissioning and startup to ensure quality, safety and minimal downtime.
• Perform gap assessments between Milford's requirements and Taunton's capabilities; plan mitigations including equipment upgrades, material changes, analytical methods, validation and training.
• Collaborate with NPI Manager and Material Scientist on priorities, strategy, requirements, risk assessments, development studies and launch readiness.
• Monitor performance before, during, and after launch; investigate deviations and coordinate corrective actions with a structured handoff to Operations.
