Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from concept to mass production.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
• Manage pilot production builds and provide technical support during product launch.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues during the NPI phase.
• Establish and maintain product documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
• Experience with PCBA bring-up, debugging, and test development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems beyond NPI-specific modules.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application to data management.
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior engineers or cross-functional teams.
