Job summary

Ascentec Engineering, LLC is hiring a New Product Introduction (NPI) Machinist to develop machining processes for low to mid-volume production parts. The role is on site at our Dallas, Oregon location and requires strong CNC programming and setup capabilities with multiple controllers.

The candidate should have extensive GD&T experience, CMM familiarity, and knowledge of MasterCAM/Siemens NX/Esprit. ITAR compliance and a team-driven, detail-oriented mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

Must have 7+ years' experience in precision horizontal and 5-axis CNC machining.
Expert in reading and editing G&M codes.
Strong GD&T interpretation of drawings and specs.
Proficient with multiple metrology tools; CMM a plus.
Experience with Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma and Siemens controllers.
MasterCAM, Siemens NX or Esprit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop repeatable production processes for low to mid-volume parts.
Collaborate with planning to define setup instructions and in-process inspection.
Support process improvement and standardization of programming and fixtures.
Coordinate with floor leads to address capacity constraints and issues.
