Job summary

Keytronic is seeking an Assembly Technician to provide support for product assembly and NPI processes in a fast-paced operations environment. You will work with raw materials, perform packing and build line tasks, and help ensure quality throughout manufacturing.

The role requires reading drawings, wiring assembly, and testing components, with opportunities for growth through certifications and on-the-job training as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma training and IPC Certification preferred.
• Experience in mechanical or electronic assembly; SMT soldering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical/electronic systems and components per instructions.
• Prepare and set up kits for each build line.
• Inspect and test products to ensure quality throughout production.
• Interpret drawings/blueprints to determine materials and assembly steps.
• Support NPI processes and assist root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
