Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an Assembler II to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) team onsite in Northridge, CA. You will help turn concepts into manufacturing-ready solutions, build and refine products during critical stages, and support successful launches.

The role emphasizes hands-on assembly, adherence to quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on production experience in a manufacturing/NPI setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to perform duties.
• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical education or certification may be added.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of production assembly tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive.
• Reads from diagrams, layouts, schematics, and instructions to prepare products.
• Sets up layouts and uses tools to prepare product(s) for assembly.
• Performs in-process checks and may conduct quality inspections per specs.
• Disassembles or reworks prototypes as needed and tests assemblies under simulated conditions.
• Maintain punctual attendance and adhere to shifts and schedules.
