Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Specialist to support lifelong learning in an inter-professional environment. This exempt role focuses on education design, change leadership, and advancing nursing practice within a 8-5, Monday–Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Nursing, Texas RN license, BLS certification, and NPD or Certified Nurse Educator within two years. Hospital-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Texas nursing license to practice.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• NPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator within two years of start date.
• Clinical certification preferred.
