Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Project Manager II for its Project Management Team. The PM II leads cross-functional teams to deliver motor driver development projects from concept through launch, ensuring governance, alignment to customer requirements, quality standards, and on-time releases.

The PM II manages multiple projects across the full development lifecycle, driving stakeholder alignment, requirements definition, integrated planning, engineering execution (hardware/software), test validation,

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering, business, or related technical discipline.
5+ years of demonstrable Project Management experience.
PMP Certification preferred.
Experience leading large New Product Development projects.
Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional project meetings to drive actions and resolve issues.
Own end-to-end project planning, scope, schedule, budget, and dependencies.
Prepare governance decision packages and ensure readiness for key gates.
Collaborate with diverse global teams to align requirements and deliverables.
Co-facilitate workshops to improve execution and team effectiveness.
Identify stakeholders and build project teams across hardware, software, test, manufacturing, and quality.
Manage risks, conflicts, and execution barriers with timely mitigation.
Use PM tools to track actions, critical path, and accountability.
Escalate when scope, timing, or maturity jeopardizes commitments.
Ensure documentation and archival of project artifacts.
