Job summary

Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a New Product Development Project Manager to lead cross-functional NPD initiatives from concept to commercialization. You will build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.

Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to ensure scope and timing align with business goals; drive risk mitigation and maintain momentum through

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of project management experience in New Product Development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent NPD projects from concept through commercialization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain NPD project plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate NPD activities across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
• Track project deliverables and ensure progress according to timelines.
• Facilitate NPD meetings, escalate issues, and maintain momentum.
