Job summary

Stryker in Portage, MI is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional new product development initiatives from concept to launch. You will coordinate activities across engineering and business stakeholders, manage scope, timelines, risks, and resources to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include guiding project reviews, aligning objectives, and driving progress toward milestones and launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 4+ years of experience in project management, product development, engineering, or related technical roles.
• Experience leading New Product Development (NPD) projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industries; PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional new product development projects in partnership with the Technical Lead.
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and resource plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and elevate risks, issues, and tradeoffs to leadership as needed.
• Coordinate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
• Facilitate team meetings, project reviews, and decision‑making activities to maintain project momentum.
• Assign project activities and resources based on project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Track project performance against established scope, schedule, and business objectives.
• Support product launch activities and ensure deliverables are completed according to requirements and timelines.
