Job summary

Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking an experienced New Product Development Project Manager to join our marketing team. This role leads cross-functional NPD initiatives, translating strategy into executable plans and driving commercialization from concept to launch.

You will develop schedules, manage risks, and partner with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery and market success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience, with NPD exposure.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Planner and Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent NPD projects from concept through commercialization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Work with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to establish scope, objectives, requirements, timing, and deliverables.
• Translate objectives into clearly defined activities, ownership, and timelines.
• Coordinate NPD activities across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Marketing, Sales.
• Track deliverables and ensure progress according to timelines.
