Job summary

TTI Group seeks a Project Engineer I to support cross-functional execution of new product development for outdoor power equipment. You will translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and maintain project plans from concept through production.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and suppliers, document decisions, and help drive schedule and cost objectives while building leadership capability and technical judgment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year engineering/product development/project experience; internships count.
• Ability to organize technical information and communicate clearly across functions.
• Strong analytical, planning, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining product requirements, specs, and CTQ measures.
• Support scoping of systems and deliverables with guidance from senior leadership.
• Maintain work breakdown structures, trackers, and milestone plans for lower-complexity projects.
• Coordinate prototype builds, testing, reviews, pilot builds, and releases with owners.
• Record decisions and changes; escalate issues to protect project commitments.
• Contribute to cost tracking, benchmarking, design trade-offs, and value engineering.
