Job summary

Enpro Industries, Inc. in Illinois seeks a Program Manager to lead new product development from concept through prototype builds, NPD completion, and production launches.

You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality/compliance, procurement, sales and marketing to ensure alignment with customer requirements. You’ll manage schedules and risks, facilitate reviews with customers, and act as the main liaison between Enpro and external partners throughout the program lifecycle, driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations or related field.
• Experience managing NPD or complex cross-functional projects in manufacturing/tech.
• Strong understanding of project management, scheduling, and risk management.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and contractual documents.
• Experience with RFQ, quoting, or customer proposals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development programs from concept through prototype builds and production launches.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality/compliance, procurement, sales and marketing.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and action items.
• Facilitate customer meetings and internal reviews to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Gather and communicate customer requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Manage RFQ and quoting processes with sales, engineering, procurement and operations.
• Ensure program execution aligns with statements of work and contracts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, technical, and scheduling risks.
• Drive programs to meet on-time delivery, budget, quality, and satisfaction objectives.
• Serve as primary liaison between Enpro and external customers.
