Job summary

Simmons seeks a qualified professional to oversee the creation of comprehensive project plans and maintain related documentation, timelines, and milestones. You will partner with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure projects stay on scope and on time within the PLM portfolio.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and experience in project coordination or business analysis, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Travel within North America is possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in project coordination or business analyst role with an R&D or Market function.
• Excellent computer skills with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite - intermediate to advanced level in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to quickly learn the company’s applicable software suites.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years related experience.
• Preference for food processing industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Projects and New Product Development activities with project leads to maintain an accurate project portfolio and align timelines.
• Manage reports for monthly Product and Business Review meetings with Sales & Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
• Conduct project updates through Project Kick-Offs and Leadership Deep-Dive meetings.
• Act as NPD gatekeeper to ensure proper activities at each stage and alignment with ISP projects.
