Job summary

Bevi, a leader in connected beverage technology, is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design and bring to production the next generation of beverage dispensing machines. You will transform product requirements into robust hardware solutions and collaborate with industrial designers, electrical, firmware, software, and mechanical engineers to deliver a refined product.

You will prototype, test, and iterate, drive manufacturability with suppliers, and perform risk-aware tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• BSME or MSME with a minimum of 3+ years relevant work experience in system design integrating mechanical and electrical components.
• Proficient SOLIDWORKS user with experience in large assemblies and 2D drawings; GD&T a plus.
• Experience with stamping, molding, casting and materials used in these processes.
• Experience launching a product for mass production.
• Strong tradeoff analysis and ability to drive to final solution.
• Familiarity with FEA, MATLAB, MathCAD.
• Hands-on skills to build and test prototypes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, prototype and test hardware systems for beverage devices.
• Translate product requirements into complete technical solutions.
• Collaborate with industrial designers, electrical, firmware, software, and mechanical engineers.
• Lead development of systems or subsystems and integrate into a delivered product.
• Work with suppliers to design manufacturable, cost-effective components.
• Develop and execute tests to prove performance and reliability.
• Provide leadership and mentorship in areas of specialization.
• Participate in the design review process.
• Manage risk and drive work with limited supervision.
