Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking an experienced New Product Development Engineer to design, validate, and verify components for rotating and reciprocating machinery. You will bridge theory and practice using advanced data acquisition and testing tools, contributing to rapid product development and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background with 3+ years in NPD/R&D, strong LabVIEW and NI DAQ skills, and hands-on experience with high-pressure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• 3+ years in NPD, R&D, or test lab focusing on heavy industrial machinery.
• Experience with high-pressure gas loops and high-rotational-speed equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of technology and new product development from ideation to launch.
• Design and validate test rigs for sealing systems, valves, and bearing assemblies.
• Develop LabVIEW architectures for real-time data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with design engineers to translate simulations into physical testing.
