Job summary

Nordic-Naturals is seeking a Product Development Formulator, NPD, to lead the creation and renovation of dietary supplement formulas across delivery formats. You will drive feasibility, stability planning, and specification development while aligning with Marketing and cross-functional teams for successful commercialization.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field and at least 4 years in dietary supplements, with strong documentation and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS in food science, chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in dietary supplement (capsules, soft gels, liquids, powders, gummies, and/or nutrition bars) or related field.
• Ability to develop, read and interpret SOPs and regulations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with many departments and skill levels.
• Knowledge of Food & Supplement regulations (DSHEA, FD&C Act 21 CFR 111) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new formulas and renovate existing products to support claims and brand expansion.
• Research and identify optimal ingredients, materials, and delivery technologies.
• Create Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs) and stage-gate documentation for commercialization.
• Design stability studies and collaborate with QA and PD Engineering on analytical data.
