Job summary

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. seeks an NPD CMM Engineer to program and inspect using PC-DMIS/Modus, mentor teams, and guide GD&T in new product development. You will support PPAP activities, establish metrology methods, and drive data analytics for quality control across programs.

The role requires 5+ years in CMM programming, strong data skills, and the ability to teach others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or significant experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of CMM programming experience with PC-DMIS or Modus.
• Strong data management skills; Excel and Minitab a plus.
• Solid GD&T knowledge and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of CMM programs for point-of-use inspection.
• Provide GD&T guidance across Engineering and Operations.
• Support NPD PPAP activity and metrology planning.
• Perform complete inspection of critical parts.
• Develop data analytics for CMMs using DataPage+ and Minitab.
