Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. seeks an NPD CMM Engineer to program and inspect CMMs for new product development, supervise metrology efforts, and provide GD&T guidance across engineering and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff and supporting PPAP and design changes. The candidate will develop CMM programs (Hexagon, AMES, Equator) and Smart Scope integration; experience with PC-DMIS or Modus is required, along with strong data analysis skills and a solid manufacturing

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial preferred
• Minimum 5 years CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS or Modus)
• Strong GD&T and metrology knowledge; data analysis skills a plus
• Experience with Hexagon/AMES/Equator CMMs and Keyence measurement systems

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of CMM programs for NPD and production inspection
• Mentor and develop engineers in GD&T and metrology best practices
• Perform complete inspection of critical components and document results
• Support PPAP activities and analyze inspection data for process capability
