Job summary

The Children's Guild, Inc. invites Speech-Language Pathologists to join our Prince Georges County programs in the Greater Baltimore area.

Both part-time and full-time roles are available, offering the chance to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services in school settings with a focus on student success. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders, with CCC-SLP or eligibility and Maryland/DC licensure.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Science Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) or eligibility.
  • Maryland and/or Washington DC license or eligibility.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.

Responsibilities

  • Empower children to overcome communication challenges by providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting.
  • Provide innovative speech and language services in both regular classrooms and in specialized one-on-one or small group sessions.
  • Complete speech assessments with children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of educators and professionals.
  • Create all documentation necessary and communicate with school staff and families in support of students.
  • Make a lasting impact on student's educational success.
