Key Responsibilities:
Foster and assist in facilitating the intellectual and social development of our K-12 students and families.
Implement best practices in childhood and family engagement.
Facilitate social-emotional and child development learning programs.
Provide therapeutic interventions for students with special needs.
Collaborate with school leaders to support children and families.
Document efficiently using electronic health records and school-based platforms.
Engage in data-informed, evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidates Have:
Master’s Degree in Social Work.
Certified or eligible for certification in Maryland at the LCSW-C level (preferred).
Hold or be eligible for a Social Worker certificate in Maryland (can be applied for post-hire).
Certified or eligible for certification in crisis management.
Certified or eligible for certification in CPR/First Aid.
Passion for working with children with diverse abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
