Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster and assist in facilitating the intellectual and social development of our K-12 students and families.

• Implement best practices in childhood and family engagement.

• Facilitate social-emotional and child development learning programs.

• Provide therapeutic interventions for students with special needs.

• Document efficiently using electronic health records and school-based platforms.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Have:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work.

• Certified or eligible for certification in Maryland at the LCSW-C level (preferred).

• Hold or be eligible for a Social Worker certificate in Maryland (can be applied for post-hire).

• Certified or eligible for certification in crisis management.

• Certified or eligible for certification in CPR/First Aid.

• Passion for working with children with diverse abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
