Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office/Google Suite.

Job description

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.

Otolaryngology Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic and OR time.

Minimum of 2-3 years of PA/APN experience, a background in a surgical specialty, critical care, or emergency medicine.

Experience or a demonstrated passion for Otolaryngology preferred.

No Weekends Required

Holiday Work As Needed

On-Call Commitment Required

Nurse Practitioner candidates must also have RNFA

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• 1. Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• 1. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• 2. Advance Practice Nurse License.
• 3. BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• 4. Board certified by AANP or ANCC.
• 5. AHA. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• 6. RNFA certification

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• 1. Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 3. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms
