Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a float clinician to deliver high‑quality primary and family care across multiple MinuteClinic locations. You will provide both in‑person and virtual visits, perform diagnostics, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

This role emphasizes holistic, evidence‑based care and strong teamwork within a supportive environment. The position requires NP or PA licensure with relevant board certification, multi-state licensure readiness, and DOT/BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• One year NP experience preferred; new graduates considered
• Active, unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner license (FNP) or PA license
• Multi-state licensure based on business needs
• Ability to provide holistic, evidence-based care including pregnancy prevention and STI prevention
• DOT certification within 30 days of employment
• BLS certification
• Physical presence at assigned clinic

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Provide both in-person and virtual visits from the clinic
• Perform diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, treatment of injuries and illnesses, and care coordination
• Engage patients in wellness services, chronic disease management, and preventive health screenings
• Complete essential clinic operations including inventory management, opening/closing, follow-up, insurance verification, and payments
