Job summary

Qualifications

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in the State of Ohio.
• Graduate of an APRN program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff orientation.
• Class development.
• Instructor/faculty for courses.
• New product and equipment in-service.
• Unit based in-service.
• Educational needs assessment and ongoing staff competency.
• Coordination of the APP fellowship program.
