Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Educator to design, develop, implement and evaluate education programs for APPs, including orientation and the APP Fellowship.

Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, the educator develops courses, in-services and competency assessments to ensure safe, independent practice. This role emphasizes evidence-based adult learning and serves as a resource across departments and the university.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, implement and evaluate education programs for Advanced Practice Providers.
• Create staff orientation, in-service trainings and ongoing competency assessments.
• Coordinate the APP Fellowship Program and related activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and other disciplines to meet regulatory standards.
• Incorporate evidence-based adult learning principles into education programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess educational needs and plan learning activities.
• Develop and deliver courses/in-services for APPs.
• Coordinate fellowship program activities and learner evaluation.
• Serve as educational consultant and resource across units.
• Promote safe, independent practice through effective staff development.
