Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Clinical Program Manager to ensure orientation, competency assessment and interventions for designated nursing staff. This role interfaces with MSMC departments, leadership, and clinical staff to support safe and effective nursing care delivery.

The incumbent will oversee operations, recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, and coordinate education and performance improvement with Nursing, Medical and Quality leaders.

Qualifications

• RN license with current New York State registration.
• Experience supervising nursing staff is preferred.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program and uses data-driven methods to improve processes.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines and evaluates staff.
• Develops and reconciles departmental budget and manages financial oversight.
• Plans and maintains standard operating procedures; reviews policies for changes.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with Nursing, Medical and Quality Leadership.
• Develops action plans to support clinical performance and competency.
• Establishes goals and operating procedures for high performance in nursing care delivery.
• Leads day-to-day educational program activities aligned with objectives.
