Job summary

LanceSoft is hiring for a Pediatric Cardiac ICU RN to join a brand-new pediatric cardiac program in Texas.

The role focuses on direct care for critically ill pediatric cardiac patients, development of individualized care plans, and education for families. Requires 1 year PICU experience, ASN, active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS within timelines.

Shift options include 7:00 PM–7:00 AM or 11:00 PM–11:00 AM, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year recent PICU RN experience in an Acute care hospital.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN license.
• Experience with pediatric cardiac patients and congenital heart disease.
• CV Pediatric ICU exposure is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Unit Details

• Pediatric CICU
• 14-bed unit
• Patients age 1+
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
• Brand-new pediatric cardiac program
• 50–70 projected cases in first year

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year recent PICU RN experience in Acute care hospital.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Active RN License
• Experience with:
• Pediatric cardiac patients
• Congenital heart disease
• Pediatric post-operative care (preferred)
• CV Pediatric ICU exposure (highly preferred)
• BLS within 30 days
• ACLS within 6 months
• PALS within 6 months
• CCRN preferred

Shift Timings

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  OR
• 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM
