Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN to provide nursing care in a long-term care setting in California. You will follow established charting and incident reporting procedures, perform narcotics accountability, and monitor patient changes under physician orders and center policies.

The candidate should have LT Care experience, be proficient with PointClickCare, hold a valid LVN/LPN license, and maintain BLS/CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long Term Care environments is required.
• Proficiency with PointClickCare charting is preferred.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the practicing state is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutritional issues, infections, skin changes, weight loss or other noticeable changes.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in appropriate programs.
• Documents and notifies departments of patient room changes, LOA, new admits or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience


• Point click care charting experience


• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.


• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.


• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
