Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston is hiring caregivers for flexible, per diem day shifts in the Framingham area. Earn $20–$23/hr with the option to pick shifts based on client needs and your schedule.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation support. CNA/HHA certs help, but aren’t required for all roles.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience — professional or family caregiving considered.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
• Dependable and committed to scheduled shifts.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Driver's license is a plus for transporting clients to appointments.

Current Opportunities

We are currently hiring caregivers for:

Long Day Shifts - $20/hour

Short Day Shifts - $23/hour

Per Diem / Flexible Scheduling

Opportunities for additional shifts/pay increase based on client needs and caregiver availability

You choose the shifts that work with your availability.

What You'll Do

• Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assisting with mobility and safe transfers

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license is a plus for transporting clients to appointments (if applicable)
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate appropriately with clients, families, and the FirstLight team
• CNA or HHA certification is a plus, but is NOT required for all caregiver positions.
