Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of West Suburban Boston is seeking dedicated caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home. Enjoy flexible shifts with long and short day options, plus caring team support and meaningful, appreciated work.

Earn $20/hour for long day shifts and $23/hour for short day shifts with per diem scheduling to match your availability. Paid training and ongoing development are provided to help you grow as a caregiver.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (family or professional).
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable nature.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid and CNA/HHA certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home by providing personal care and mobility support.
• Provide warm companionship and uplifting conversation.
• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Give medication reminders and transport to appointments or errands.
• Communicate clearly and document care plans.
• Contribute to documentation to support care plans.
