You will improve client device experiences, build the platform enabling all teams to send delightful notifications, and pair with ML engineers to optimize signals and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Elixir, or Typescript with eagerness to learn more languages.
• Track record of delivering high quality software reliably and on time.
• Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset; catch bugs before customers.
• Motivation to help teammates succeed and grow through empathetic feedback.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to work toward measurable team goals.

Responsibilities

• Improve client device experiences for receiving notifications and tailoring notification preferences.
• Build the platform that enables all other teams to send delightful notifications while delivering maximum value.
• Pair with Machine Learning engineers to optimize global notification signals and quality.
• Maintain a high quality bar for the platform’s operational health and client performance.
• Collaborate with Product and Design leads to balance delight, speed, and impact.
