Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Senior Associate for its Not-for-Profit Tax team in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on tax compliance and consulting to protect tax-exempt status, with responsibility for preparing Forms 990/1120 for exempt entities and affiliates.

You will lead and develop staff in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with market and Firm leaders, and network within the community to support client service and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA designation active or in progress preferred.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience providing tax services to tax-exempt organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services related to protecting tax-exempt status for not-for-profit organizations.
• Prepare/review Forms 990/1120 for exempt organizations and affiliates.
• Lead and develop tax staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Consult with market and Firm leaders and network within communities.
