Cherry Bekaert's Not-for-Profit Tax team is seeking a Senior Associate to deliver tax compliance and consulting for exempt organizations. You will build client relationships, review Forms 990/1120, and lead projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting, and CPA pursuit is preferred. This role offers a collaborative environment, a competitive compensation package, and opportunities for growth.

As a Not-for-Profit Tax Senior, you will:

• Provide clients with tax compliance and consulting services related to protecting their tax-exempt status
• Prepare and/or review tax returns for exempt organizations and their taxable affiliates (Forms 990/1120)
• Leverage your project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• Lead and develop tax staff in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Consult with market and Firm leaders
• Network within the community and client industries

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Ability to obtain the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, active licensure preferred
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting
• Experience providing tax services to tax exempt organizations

Pay Range:

$83,700 - $123,100 per year
