Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati is seeking a Vice President of Finance to direct the nonprofit's fiscal functions in line with GAAP and industry best practices.

The role leads budgeting, financial planning, audits, cash management, and strategic oversight, partnering with senior leadership to sustain programs serving youth and families. A CPA and extensive nonprofit finance experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 7–10 years of nonprofit finance leadership experience.
• Strong budgeting, accounting, and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic and operational plans and programs.
• Organize and facilitate annual budget processes with tools and guidelines.
• Advise on fiscal impact of decisions and long-range plans.
• Provide timely analysis of financial results, cash flow, and trends.
• Facilitate annual audit and tax reporting with governance oversight.
• Ensure financial information systems support all levels of management.
• Maintain controls and leverage technology to improve operations.
• Provide mentoring to Club Directors to strengthen financial discipline.
• Optimize cash flow and relationships with banks and investment managers.
• Perform financial due diligence on contracts and agreements.
• Review strategies to enhance the Finance department’s operations.
