Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in the Greater Chicagoland Area is seeking an experienced Audit Manager specializing in Not-for-Profit organizations to lead nonprofit audits and client engagements. You will manage planning through final reporting while delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base.

You will mentor audit teams, build long-term client relationships, and contribute to practice growth with a clear path toward leadership and partnership, maintaining a focus on work-life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; master's degree a plus.
• 5–7+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising, reviewing, and developing audit staff.

Responsibilities

• Audit Engagement Management: lead and manage engagements for nonprofit clients; plan, fieldwork, financial reporting, and deliverables.
• Client Relationship Management: primary contact for nonprofit clients and provide actionable recommendations.
• Team Leadership & Development: supervise and mentor staff, allocate resources, and support career growth.
• Nonprofit Accounting & Compliance: apply nonprofit accounting standards, review Form 990 filings, stay updated on industry developments.
