Job summary

Omitron seeks an experienced Operations Integration Lead in Colorado Springs to guide SPARTAN NOSC readiness, from deployment of IP address management to 24/7 operations oversight. You will lead a technically diverse team, define workflows, and ensure security and compliance alignment with DoD requirements.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery of monitoring tools, managing schedules in MS Project, and coordinating with government partners to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in network operations and infrastructure delivery with leadership experience.
• Active PMP certification and ITIL certification (ITIL 4 Managing Professional / ITIL Intermed / equivalent).
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience delivering network infrastructure or monitoring capabilities from design through transition to operations.
• Hands-on with IPAM, packet capture/analysis, and out-of-band management.
• Experience leading a 24/7/365 NOSC or comparable operations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational integration projects for SPARTAN from initiation through transition to operations.
• Deliver IP address management capability across current and future SPARTAN nodes.
• Deploy packet monitoring/visibility (e.g., NetScout) across SPARTAN environment.
• Deploy out-of-band monitoring stacks for SPARTAN nodes.
• Hands-on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of monitoring tools during delivery phase.
• Design and implement NOSC operating model, tooling, workflows, SOPs, and shift coverage for 24/7 operations.
• Hire, onboard, and develop NOSC personnel; define roles and performance expectations.
• Define continuous monitoring and incident response workflows (detection, triage, escalation, after-action).
• Establish centralized crypto-net management processes, including KEYMAT handling.
• Manage SLAs with providers and track enterprise availability.
• Evaluate tools/processes to deliver operational integration and NOSC readiness.
• Define transition-to-operations criteria for delivered capabilities.
• Build and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project and feed IMS inputs.
• Manage CDRL items per SOW and ensure on-time submission.
• Brief status, risks, and due-outs at SPARTAN project updates.
• Coordinate with gov customers and defense contractors to align capabilities with mission objectives.
• Manage project risks and compliance with DoD/federal requirements.
• Support proposal development and resource planning for NOSC scope.
