Norton’s Restaurant in Green Lake, WI (now under Gage Marine's family of businesses) is hiring Bussers and Food Runners to join our team. As a busser, you’ll help keep the dining area clean, organized, and guest-ready, working closely with servers to ensure a seamless visit from start to finish.

Ideal candidates are high-energy, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment by lakeside.

Qualifications

• High energy level with a focus on cleanliness and thoroughness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs as needed.
• Flexible schedule with nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Prior bussing or hospitality experience a plus, but not required.
• Customer-service oriented and eager to contribute to guest satisfaction.
• Must be very neat in appearance and dress.
• High School Diploma or GED; or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Pre-bus, clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently.
• Assist servers with guest needs, including filling waters and delivering food.
• Polish silverware and glassware to maintain high presentation standards.
• Refill ice bins and maintain stock for service.
• Keep the restaurant clean, including taking out garbage and linens, cleaning spills, and sweeping floors.
• Support setup and breakdown, including moving tables and performing opening/closing duties.
• Assist with outdoor tasks such as raking or shoveling as directed.
• Work as part of the team to maintain smooth and efficient dining operations.
• A Food Runner is a professional who is responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to customers at the restaurant.
