Job summary

Gensler seeks a Regional Design Technology Lead for Computation Platforms in Portland. You will advance computational thinking across design projects and set the roadmap for digital design practices in the Northwest.

You will develop custom computational solutions, document case studies, train teams, and champion proprietary platforms. Strong programming and BIM integration experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the building industry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Foster and grow the Computational Design community across the Northwest Region.
• Establish cross platforms integration and interoperability from concept to delivery.
• Partner with regional leadership to develop the regional strategy for computational design.
• Author / Develop custom computational/generative design solutions for project teams.
• Document case studies to demonstrate the value of computational design.
• Develop computational design tools for spatial analytics and generative design.
• Identify, research, recommend and implement intelligent automation practices.
• Research and develop thoughtful responsible ways to integrate AI/ML into design processes.
• Present concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences through storytelling and data-driven insights.
• Promote and champion the use of Gensler’s computational platforms within design teams.
• Lead formal and informal training for team members.
