Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Design Verification Test Engineer in Northridge, CA for a 4 month contract (with potential extensions and conversion to FTE). The role focuses on hands-on verification of electronic hardware through detailed measurements and test execution in a lab environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong EE background, 5–7 years of verifications experience, and the ability to work independently while producing thorough test reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of hands-on test and verification experience.
• Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience with lab testing and measurement in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with test execution, reporting, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Execute design verification test plans and validate hardware performance against specs.
• Perform electrical measurements (clock, protocol) and bring up boards.
• Document findings and maintain test reports in Confluence/Jira.
• Record, track, and report test results and issues from lab work.
