Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Redmond, WA is seeking a Lab Technician to support daily operations in an engineering lab, build and maintain hardware inventory, and assist with hardware setup and testing. This onsite role is 12+ month contract with compensation $45–$50 per hour.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in lab settings, basic networking, and a detail-oriented mindset to collaborate with multiple engineering teams and ensure tests run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lab, manufacturing, test, or engineering technician environment.
• Hands-on experience building, configuring, or testing hardware systems.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using standard lab equipment and following test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations in an engineering lab environment.
• Build, organize, and maintain hardware inventory and lab equipment.
• Assist with hardware setup, integration, and functional testing.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and verify IP connectivity.
• Support engineers during test execution and document results.
• Maintain lab organization and ensure equipment is configured for testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to keep testing on track.
