Job summary

Granite Edvance is hiring a full-time education and career counselor to empower students across Northern New Hampshire. You will build relationships with students, families and local partners, guiding them through education funding options and creating personalized career plans.

The role involves both virtual and in-person meetings, engaging presentations, and travel across the region (up to 80%). Our successful candidate will reside in Northern NH with knowledge of the local higher education

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in school or career counseling, college admissions, financial aid, or workforce development.
• Knowledge of education and career access in Northern NH.
• Strong presentation and public-speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with students, families and partners across Northern New Hampshire.
• Assist in education funding options, including financial aid, scholarships, and student loans.
• Meet with students virtually and in person; deliver engaging presentations and provide personalized guidance.
• Develop plans to help students progress toward education and career goals.
