Job summary

GHD is seeking a senior leader to drive growth in Northern California's municipal construction management and program management practices. You will develop client relationships with public agencies, lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams, and collaborate across GHD's network to win and deliver priority projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer license in California; additional licensure advantageous.
• Approximately 15+ years of progressively responsible public infrastructure experience.
• Proven success in leading construction management, program/ project management, and business development.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an annual business plan for Northern California construction management and program management services across priority public infrastructure markets.
• Define priority clients, target sectors, pursuits, pipeline objectives, visibility activities, relationship plans, and measurable business development indicators.
• Monitor agency capital programs, procurement activity, funding priorities, market trends, and competitor dynamics across relevant markets.
• Provide a forward-looking view of staffing, recruiting, training, geographic coverage, and capabilities for sustainable growth.
• Lead executive-level relationships with transit agencies, municipalities, utilities, and public owners.
• Coordinate with partners to assemble effective pursuit and delivery teams.
• Guide responses to RFQs/Proposals with disciplined opportunity tracking.
