Job summary

GHD is seeking a Project Manager- Construction to lead the growth of our municipal construction services in Northern California, spanning Transportation, Water, Buildings, and Construction Phase Services. The role focuses on establishing trusted relationships with public agencies and partners, while overseeing senior-level construction and program management leadership.

Qualifications

• Approximately 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in public infrastructure, including construction management, program management, project management, and business development leadership.
• Experience leading construction management assignments and multidisciplinary capital projects in more than one infrastructure market.
• Broad understanding of the Northern California public infrastructure market, including clients, partners, contractors, and competitors.
• Ability to travel as needed to client, project, and industry locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning and approve plans to deliver program objectives on time, budget, and quality.
• Manage delivery of assurance reviews and coordinate with independent third parties to maintain project integrity.
• Develop and sustain stakeholder engagement plans to identify and involve relevant stakeholders.
• Lead a small- to medium-sized project team and coordinate cross-disciplinary interfaces across civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
